Rosacea (roh-zay-sha) is a benign inflammatory skin disease of adults, that primarily appears on the face and it is likened to teenage acne.

There are approximately 2-4% of the population that have this condition, but it is mainly in people with fairer skin.

The main symptoms as are suggested by the name of the condition, is the rosy colour of the facial skin, which might also show a small network of blood vessels, referred to as spider veins. In some instances, the skin is bumpy and pustular, which might also have pus.
